Last Minute Holiday Trends!

 Through the years, my holiday outfit inspirations have stayed very consistent.  Although the trends change year to year, there are common themes that are timeless and won't go out of style ever (sequins/velvet/etc.)

Rather than do another outfit guide on "how" to dress, this year I will stick more with highlighting some of my favorite trends you can rock for 2021!  If you are looking for more of tips and tricks how to determine the best holiday style for you, I encourage you to look at one of my previous holiday look books.  Now here for my top 2021 holiday trends!

Feathers

Feathers can definitely lean on the fancier end of the holiday look spectrum but they are WAY too cute to to NOT include in your winter wardrobe!  One subtle way to utilize feathers is by just having it as an accent to your outfit (the trim of your sleeves or pants is a great way to do so).

Pant Suits

Pant suits keep you looking sleek and chic!  Right now, it is all about the wide leg suits and if you are ready to rock this look, you can even go bolder and opt for an all-sequin or jewel toned suit which are super hot right now.  A bonus about wearing a suit is, even if you are body conscious (especially around the holidays), a suit is flattering and you do not have to worry about being in a specific shape to wear!

Statement Pieces

If a full suit is too dressy for your family get together or holiday plans, going with a colorful blazer or sequin pant is one way to still dress to impress but it will be less loud or fancy. You can still keep up the comfort and festive style!  

Pro Tip: adding leather is a great way to add some texture to an outfit and can look dressier with minimal effort

I'm LOVING all the fun shoes that are trending right now!  Large bows, rhinestones, and big buckles just to name a few of my fave trends that are making holiday shoes so fun right now.
