Emmys Looks

After last year's *blackout* at the Emmy's I was looking forward to see if the stars would bring it.  I have to be honest the Emmy's was a bit of a snooze fest... and most of the outfits did not blow me away either.  Although the Emmy's isn't known to be as high fashion and wow factor as some awards show, at least you can rely on some of TV's best to spice it up!!  Below are some of my fave looks.

My best dressed may be a little biased because Issa Rae is my favorite person ever and her show INSECURE is the best show out there... but she looked STUNNING in this Vera Wang jumpsuit!  The sky blue color on her perfect skin tone was a match made in heaven.  I'm all about jumpsuits but sometimes they can be a little too casual for the carpet so I love the embellishments and long train that take this jumpsuit to the next level.

All asymmetrical everything!  I love this trend but love it even more on her.  It also helps that Jessica Biel could look good in a paper bag.  I don't love strapless on everyone but her athletic build is meant for this cut dress. The texture and shape of the gown make it fun rather than what could be an otherwise boring gown.

I love old Hollywood glam looks so if you rock one on the carpet you'll most likely get on my list.  Also helps if you have a sick bod and are as stunning as Vanessa Kirby.  That is all.

Normally polka dots are a no for me dawg but I really like this dress on her.  I actually have no idea who this is either but her overall aesthetic works for me because of her exotic look.  Now most people I would hate this dress on but props to her for knowing she can pull it off!

Ummm is this not the cutest look you've ever seen?!  I think the hair paired with the dress makes it for me and she looks like a barbie doll.  I'm still not sold on the shoes but I just love this mix of color and texture of the dress.  Seems to be pastels are making a big statement on the carpet this year which have not been popular in the past but i love it!

I looove when males take the dress code seriously and go for a little extra.  Darren Criss is such a stud and just when you think he couldn't make you drool any more..he does.  He also won an award for the American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace where he made the cutest speech ever. YAY!
