My Summer Must Haves

Seems like we have skipped over Spring in New York but hopefully we are headed straight to Summer.  But it is officially here!!!

So what are my must-haves for this Summer?

1. All Same Color Everything

Neutrals are never not in style but this season my favorite way to wear them is pair them! Ha ;) Pairing the same color top and bottom is an easy and simple way to instantly look on trend. Not only will you look trendier but by creating that monochromatic look you will look longer and leaner because the eye isn't being cut off at any point of the body.  (Killing two birds with one stone ladies!)   Below are two completely different ways to wear them and I'm obsessed with both.

2. Small Sunglasses
If you are not Rihanna or Kendall and cannot pull of the super small sunglass trend (me) then don't get discouraged because there are still options for you!  I will always be a supporter of a classic over-sized shade (Anna Wintour would be proud) but there is no denying that this is the "IT" Summer trend.  If you feel ridiculous in the super small ones, you can meet halfway in the middle like I did.  The below are a medium sized cat eye so I still felt it suited my classic style but a little trendier.

3. Big Shoulders
Move over bell sleeves, there's a younger, hotter version of you in town!  I'm super into the big shoulder because it is a dramatic statement but not overwhelming at the same time.  It adds a little bit of fun to some of my work outfits that otherwise would be b-o-r-i-n-g thanks to corporate america.

4. Belt Bags

This new age fanny pack was a great idea that way we could reap the benefits of bringing back the fanny pack without actually bringing it back.....
Designers have jumped all over this trend and are perfect for the Summer when you are hoping around rooftops or festival hoping depending on your style!  Below are some of my faves.
