In honor of national lipstick day which was yesterday..oops! I want to share my favorite lipsticks with all of you! Not sure about you guys, but as I get a little older I find it necessary to wear something on my lips everyday. Even if it's not super bright or noticeable color, it helps add a little pop to my face. I'm not an expert with glosses so I can't give my opinion there but I will share my favorite lipsticks and other products I use.

Back Talk was one of the most sold shade lipsticks of 2018 (TY to my beauty PR friend @kyliedaniels for that fun fact!) The color is just so great! It is a shade that is not too crazy to wear on the daily but it also stands out enough that it is definitely noticeable. It is a mostly pink shade with some slight purple undertones. I have yet to find a color that is similar to this one. Only negative is it is slightly matte so can dry your lips out so I suggest applying a chapstick under first to moisturize properly!

What is better than finding one of the best makeup products you use at drug store prices?! Not a whole lot... Whenever I wear this lipstick I get SO many compliments and I swear I've had it for about 10 years... The texture of this lipstick is amazing so it is unlike a lot of the red lipsticks that tend to make your lips feel like the sahara... It is long lasting and perfect when you want to make a big impression but since it is a very intense red... wear at your own risk!

Into the clean beauty trend? This brand is for you! It is hard for me to find a nude color that doesn't make me look too washed out but this shade has just enough peach undertones that it looks great whether I'm tan or a little on the paler side. It also is moisturizing which is a plus so I use it almost as a shiney glass!

Brand- Dermaroller

Call me crazy but I think that using a dermaroller on my lips makes a huge difference. I look and feel like my lips have more volume the next day. Sticking thousands of microneedles into your lips can definitely be intimidating for some people (lol) and if that is the case I have a less invasive lip plumping solution below!

Shade- High Shine Finish

This plumper smells amazinggg and definitely works but I do feel like it never lasts as long as I want it to! Another con is that the gloss can be sticky so just don't wear it on a windy day if you have your hair down because there is nothing truly more annoying.. Overall though it is a great product that will give you the short term benefits of a plumper looking pout!
