FALL FASHION TRENDS

Fall is one of the best times of the year for many reasons... Fall fashion happens to be one of the biggest.  I think I can speak for a large majority when I say that although it's sad Summer is over, this time of year when you can get ready to break out your boots and cozy sweaters is exciting!  I'm outlining some of my favorite pieces/trends that I am seeing all over for this fall.  Good news is a lot of these pieces are easy to snatch up and are very low maintenance so there is no reason to not be on trend this season!

Midi skirts are the best because there are so many ways to wear them!  Throw one on with a sweater for the office or pair with a crop top for a night out.  This is your new favorite multi-dimensional piece.

Oversized trench coats- SO glad these statement pieces are back in..even though I never stopped wearing them :) Love throwing these on and are perfect for this time of year in NY when it is 80 degrees one minute and then freezing the next...

Puffer Coat- The puffier the better!  We are seeing oversized puffer coats go from just the ski slope to your everyday wear.  We can thank Yeezy and his team for making these go way more mainstream.

ALL-BEIGE FOR FALL

Tones on tones.  One of this fall's biggest trends is tonal blocking.  Throwing similar shades next to each other is no longer "clashing" but all the rage.

You can move the floppy felt hat to the back of your closet and make way for the wide brim fedora hat.  These trendy hats are bold and perfect for when your hair is not in a mood to cooperate!

When is animal print really ever not in?!  But this year the bolder the better!  Leopard is now being used as a neutral and can be worn for any occasion!

These 90's inspired bad boys are back!  Dress them up or dress them down- any which way you are bound to look cool.  And they are super comfy so what's better than that?!

Look cute, be comfortable. This is a square neckline top with a fitted bodice, ruching at the neckline and 3/4 sleeves.A square neckline is the focal point of this figure-hugging smocked top with long sleeves and ruffled detailing.

Another 90's inspired theme that's back- square necklines.  This trend is a simple way to up your style but also the cut is very flattering on all body types!

The bold shoulder is the perfect way to instantly dress up an outfit.  I love this style because it is classy and chic but still has a flair for the dramatic which fits my personal style perfectly!

Western themes are everywhere in today's fashion but especially this year.  Grab a pair of western style booties that almost every designer/brand has out this fall!  My favorite happens to be the snakeskin western style which really make a statement.

Another boot trend for this fall is the mid calf boots.  I wasn't sure how I felt about this trend because it hasn't been around in awhile but I am now sold after seeing a few cool looks during fashion week.  So dare to try it!
